Job Title : Director of Corporate Development

Compensation : $200,000 - $210,000+ plus up to $100,000 bonus

Location: Remote/hybrid flexible with significant travel

Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a publicly traded, multi-billion dollar in revenue, global aerospace and defense manufacturing company with offices internationally aiming to hire a Director Corporate Development. This role will be responsible for originating new acquisition targets and successfully building relationships with CEOs and Founders and hunting new companies to acquire. This opportunity will allow you to be with a highly acquisitive group closing more than 5-7 M&A transactions each year with a fast growing industry leader.

The Director of Corporate Development will be responsible for:

• Report directly to the Head of M&A and operate with autonomy
• Develop meaningful relationships and identification of acquisition targets
• Build the playbook for sourcing new companies to acquire and partner closely senior executives
• Assist in developing and executing corporate strategy for M&A activity
• Work on special projects as needed and extensive travel to target companies, trade shows, and other business development activities

The Director of Corporate Development should have the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience within Business Development, Corporate Development, M&A, and/or proven success in a senior level relationship building oriented role.
• Proven deal experience originating new acquisition targets
• Experience within the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, diversified industrials, or adjacent industry
• Operate with high integrity, discretion, autonomy, self-motivation, strategic, and creative mindset.
