We are seeking an Event Manager who will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, utilizing strong organizational and sales skills to drive success.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Sales & Client Focus : Build lasting client relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure exceptional service throughout the event process.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving : Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while creatively solving challenges and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail : Effectively coordinate event logistics, vendor relationships, and staff, ensuring every detail is managed with precision.
  • Communication & Teamwork : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with staff, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Technical Proficiency : Experienced in Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and POS systems (Stripe, VIA), with the ability to quickly learn new software.

Job Description & Work Expectations:

  • Client Engagement & Sales : Proactively manage client inquiries, deliver tailored event proposals, and convert prospects into confirmed bookings. Ensure all communications and follow-ups occur within 12 hours.
  • Event Coordination : Lead all event logistics from proposal to execution, managing vendor and staff coordination, and ensuring smooth timelines and deliverables.
  • Financial Management : Track sales goals, manage invoices through QuickBooks and Stripe, and oversee expenses to ensure profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Staff & Vendor Relationships : Maintain strong relationships with venues and vendors, and conduct weekly team meetings to review upcoming events and sales targets.

Experience:

  • 1 year of office administrative or event management experience required.
  • Proven sales experience in client-facing roles, with a focus on relationship-building and achieving revenue targets.
