We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet organizational goals. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and execute both large-scale and smaller corporate events, ensuring all logistical elements are managed effectively.
• Conduct site research and provide recommendations for event venues that align with organizational needs.
• Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage relationships with external service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve consensus on event objectives and deliverables.
• Ensure all event-related tasks are completed on time while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional international travel, to support event operations.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.• A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing or event planning.
• At least six years of hands-on experience in designing, planning, and managing corporate events.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs.
• Impeccable attention to detail and follow-through on all assignments.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, including international trips.
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
