Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Staff Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Staff Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Hardware Services group supporting calibration operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Staff Calibration Technician

Location: Austin, TX

What's the Job?

• Perform calibrations on customer equipment in the laboratory as well as at their site.
• Support the maintenance of ISO 17025 accreditation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of processes used in the Calibration Services Laboratory.
• Provide interpretations of calibration results and participate in internal and external audits.
• Support routine maintenance and inter-laboratory comparisons of laboratory equipment.

What's Needed?

• In-laboratory calibration experience.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline plus 3 years of experience in electrical measurement, or formal calibration training plus 4 years of experience in electrical measurement calibration.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards.
• Strong knowledge in instrumentation and experience with tools such as signal analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Experience participating in 17025 accreditation audits.
